Description
We are seeking a motivated Junior Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in network administration and will assist in maintaining the integrity and performance of our network systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of network equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Perform regular network performance assessments and optimizations.
- Support the implementation of network security measures and best practices.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in network administration or related roles.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and software.
- Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment and configurations.
- Basic knowledge of network security protocols and practices.
- Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
