Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Foreign Vendor Invoice Processing

• Process and account for foreign vendor invoices through GR/IR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt).
• Verify freight vendor invoices and ensure accurate accounting entries.

2. Foreign Vendor Payments

• Process payments to foreign vendors as per payment terms and company procedures.
• Handle freight vendor payments and coordinate with banks for payment processing.

3. Bank Reconciliation

• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) for two foreign currency accounts.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in foreign currency bank accounts.

4. Vendor Reconciliation

• Reconcile foreign vendor and freight vendor accounts.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices, payment discrepancies, and pending transactions.

5. GR/IR Reconciliation

• Reconcile GR/IR accounts and follow up with the Purchase Department for pending invoices.
• Coordinate with the Stores Department to resolve goods receipt and invoice mismatches.

6. Fund Position Statement

• Prepare fund position statements to track fund availability and payment requirements.
• Support finance planning by providing accurate payment and fund status information.

7. Internal & External Coordination

• Coordinate with the Purchase and Stores Departments for invoice verification and pending GR/IR issues.
• Liaise with foreign vendors, freight vendors, and banks regarding invoices and payments.
