Junior Lawyer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Lawyer with 56 years of relevant experience in real estate transactions, property documentation, redevelopment projects, legal due diligence, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for managing legal matters related to property acquisition, development, agreements, and coordination with government authorities.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Handle legal documentation for property purchases, sales, joint ventures (JV), and redevelopment projects.
2. Conduct legal due diligence of land, properties, title documents, and ownership records.
3. Draft, review, and vet agreements, including Development Agreements, Sale Agreements, MOUs, POAs, and Leave & License Agreements.
4. Handle society redevelopment documentation, including Development Agreements, Permanent Alternate Accommodation Agreements (PAAA), and related legal formalities.
5. Ensure compliance with RERA regulations, Maharashtra Ownership Flats Act (MOFA), and applicable real estate laws.
6. Coordinate with advocates, government authorities, registration offices, and other legal professionals.
7. Manage property registration, stamp duty, documentation, and related legal procedures.
8. Review land records, property cards, 7/12 extracts, mutation entries, and other ownership documents.
9. Handle legal notices, disputes, litigation coordination, and follow-up with external advocates.
10. Maintain legal records, agreements, case files, and project-wise documentation.
11. Identify legal risks in property transactions and recommend appropriate solutions.
12. Provide legal support to the management and project teams for ongoing and upcoming real estate projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in real estate law, preferably with a real estate developer or law firm.
• Strong knowledge of property laws, redevelopment, RERA, land title verification, and real estate documentation.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing property-related agreements.
• Good communication, negotiation, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to independently manage legal matters and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates with experience in real estate development and society redevelopment projects in Pune will be preferred.
• Practical knowledge of Maharashtra property laws and registration procedures is essential.
