Junior IT Hardware / Networking Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops and other IT hardware.
• Perform Windows installation, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Install and update drivers, software and system applications.
• Provide basic server configuration and troubleshooting support.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers and other networking equipment.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot POS terminals and POS software.
• Provide support for POS peripherals such as barcode scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers and other connected devices.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot CCTV systems, DVR/NVR and cameras.
• Install and maintain biometric attendance/access-control systems.
• Provide technical support to retail stores and office users and ensure timely resolution of IT issues.
• Assist in setting up IT infrastructure for new retail stores, including network, POS, CCTV, biometric systems, computers and other IT equipment.
• Coordinate with IT vendors, ISP and service providers for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain IT asset records and documentation of hardware, software and network equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure IT systems are properly maintained and operational.
• Provide on-site technical support to stores/locations and travel to locations whenever required.
• Ensure minimum downtime of critical retail systems, particularly POS and network infrastructure.
