Junior Interior Designer - AutoCAD | SketchUp

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer with 1-2 years of experience who is eager to learn, work on live interior projects and support the design team across drawings, presentations, material selection and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare AutoCAD drawings, furniture details, elevations and basic working drawings.
• Create and update SketchUp models as per approved concepts.
• Assist in space planning, design development and client presentations.
• Support senior designers in preparing execution-ready drawings.
• Take site measurements and update drawings accordingly.
• Assist with material, finish, hardware, furniture and lighting selections.
• Coordinate with the design team for revisions and project documentation.
• Attend site visits when required and understand execution processes.
• Support coordination with contractors and vendors under senior guidance.
• Maintain drawing files, revisions and project records.
• Assist in preparing mood boards, presentations and design references.

Required Skills:
AutoCAD, SketchUp, Interior Designing, Working Drawings, Detail Drawings, Space Planning, Presentation Preparation, Site Measurements, Material Selection and basic Site Coordination.

Candidate Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in interior design.
• Freshers with a strong portfolio and good software skills can also apply.
• Good command of AutoCAD is important.
• Basic to good knowledge of SketchUp.
• Understanding of interior materials, space planning and working drawings.
• Willingness to learn and attend site visits.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Portfolio of academic or professional interior design work is preferred.
