Junior Inspector (Mechanical)

Job Summary

Responsible for conducting daily physical mechanical inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and structural/piping weld validations across site operations in Mumbai. Ensures all fabricated components and joints strictly meet customer engineering standards and applicable safety codes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of active quality inspection experience in mechanical, piping, or fabrication environments.
• Mandatory ASNT/ISNT NDT Level II certifications in Radiographic Testing (RT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT).
• Hands-on experience in weld visual inspection, material verification, and NDT report generation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, isometric diagrams, and quality control plans (QCP).
