Junior Formwork Engineer

Role & responsibilities

* Prepare formwork scheme drawings and layouts for RCC elements

* Develop plans, elevations, sections and detailed formwork drawings

* Prepare fabrication & assembly drawings for MS plates, channels, angles, pipes, plywood, stiffeners, brackets, etc.

* Carry out formwork quantity analysis, material take-offs and requirement schedules

* Coordinate with Engineering, Site Execution, Planning and Stores teams

* Incorporate consultant, client and site comments and issue revised drawings

* Provide technical support and drawing clarifications to site teams

* Assist in monitoring formwork material movement, allocation and utilization

* Maintain drawing registers, revision control and formwork inventory records

Preferred candidate profile

Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D

Ability to read structural, architectural and RCC drawings

Understanding of construction methods, dimensions, levels and sections

Basic knowledge of different formwork systems and their site applications

Experience in quantity take-offs, material schedules and inventory tracking

Good knowledge of MS Excel

Strong drafting, detailing, coordination and visualization skills

Good communication and problem-solving abilities
