Junior Executive

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Release of Information (ROI), for medical records in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) policies
• Review and validate authorization forms to ensure legal compliance
• Retrieve medical records from EMR/EHR systems, paper charts, and legacy systems
• Ensure accurate disclosure of PHI based on request type (Patient, Attorney, Insurance, APS, Esquire, Government)
• Apply appropriate redactions where required
• Maintain confidentiality of all the patient records
• Meet productivity, turnaround time (TAT), and quality benchmarks
• Document actions and maintain audit trails for compliance purposes
