About this role
About ENTNT
ENTNT is a complete workforce solutions provider, offering an integrated remote service that combines recruitment, training, personnel management, customised software, and AI to help businesses optimise and grow their operations.
Our founding team comprises individuals with backgrounds in shipping, software, business, and law, including experience at top-tier technology organisations.
As a fully remote company with an international client base, we select talent based on competency, ownership, collaboration, and the ability to deliver excellent work.
Our work spans software development, AI, data, and industry-specific technology solutions, with a particular focus on building practical systems that solve real business problems.
Why ENTNT
Why ENTNT
At ENTNT, we build technology solutions that address real-world operational challenges for organisations across the globe. Our work combines software, data, artificial intelligence, and industry expertise to help businesses improve processes, make better decisions, and modernise the way they operate.
With a strong foundation in the maritime industry, ENTNT brings practical knowledge of shipping operations and the challenges faced by ship managers, technical teams, procurement functions, vessel operations, and shore-based departments. This industry experience allows us to develop technology that is not only technically capable but also grounded in actual business requirements.
As part of our growing Maritime Technology practice, you will contribute to the development of a modern maritime ERP platform designed to support and streamline real-world shipping operations. You will work beyond routine system configuration-gaining a deep understanding of maritime processes, translating business requirements into effective ERP solutions, and contributing to the continuous development of the platform.
The role involves close collaboration with software developers, business teams, maritime professionals, and international clients. You will have the opportunity to understand how different functions within a shipping organisation operate, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape technology that addresses those needs.
You will work in a multidisciplinary environment that brings together expertise in shipping, technology, software development, data, and business operations, giving you exposure to international projects and practical challenges while contributing to a product that is being built for the maritime industry.
At ENTNT, you will not simply work with an ERP system-you will be part of building and improving one for the industry.
About the Role
ENTNT is looking for an ERP Performance Analyst with an interest in maritime operations, ERP systems, data analysis, and vessel performance.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced maritime and technology professionals to understand real-world shipping operations, analyse operational and vessel data, support ERP/PMS processes, and contribute to performance analysis and reporting.
You will gain exposure to how technology, data, and operational processes come together within the maritime industry. The role will involve working across business requirements, ERP functionality, data, and vessel-performance initiatives, while collaborating with internal teams and, where required, international clients.
As an entry-level position, the role is designed to provide broad exposure rather than limiting you to a single function from the outset. Based on your skills, interests, and performance, you may progressively develop into one of the following areas:
- Maritime ERP Data
- Vessel Performance Analytics
- Maritime Technology Business Systems
- A combination of the above
This is an opportunity to build both maritime domain knowledge and technology-driven analytical skills while contributing to projects that address real operational requirements in the global shipping industry.
Responsibilities
- Validate and manage maritime operational data across vessels, voyages, fuel, machinery, cargo, inventory, procurement, and related activities.
- Perform daily validation of vessel and voyage reports, including noon reports, fuel consumption, BDNs, POS documents, emissions data, and other operational inputs.
- Identify and investigate missing, inconsistent, duplicated, incomplete, or anomalous data; resolve routine discrepancies and escalate complex issues when required.
- Support data cleansing, reconciliation, standardisation, and mapping to maintain accurate and consistent data across ERP, PMS, reporting, and analytical systems.
- Support day-to-day ERP/PMS activities, including master-data maintenance, system checks, validation flags, data verification, and basic user or vessel onboarding.
- Follow up with Masters, Chief Engineers, vessel teams, and shore-based stakeholders to obtain missing information, supporting documents, and clarification on outstanding data issues.
- Maintain accurate trackers, reconciliations, issue logs, and follow-up records, ensuring assigned issues are monitored through to closure.
- Assist with vessel-performance analysis covering voyage performance, fuel consumption, machinery data, noon reports, and other operational parameters.
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly vessel-performance, operational, emissions, and regulatory reports, including IMO DCS, EU/UK MRV, EU ETS, CII, and other applicable requirements.
- Use Excel and other analytical tools to organise, reconcile, analyse, and present maritime operational data, while collaborating with Maritime, ERP, Data, Software, Technical, IT, and Compliance teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Develop familiarity with maritime operations, ERP/PMS platforms, business processes, and analytical methodologies, while taking ownership of assigned activities and delivering accurate, well-documented, and timely outputs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a closely related engineering or maritime discipline.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Internship, academic projects, or practical exposure to shipping, maritime operations, ERP/PMS systems, data analysis, or vessel performance will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of ships, vessel operations, marine systems, machinery, fuel consumption, voyage operations, and common maritime terminology.
- Strong interest in maritime ERP systems, operational data, vessel performance, analytics, and maritime technology.
- Basic understanding of ERP/PMS concepts and business processes is an advantage; candidates should be willing to learn how maritime operations are represented and managed within digital systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Python, or other data-analysis and maritime reporting platforms will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data inconsistencies.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical, maritime, software, and internal teams.
- Ability to learn new systems, software platforms, maritime concepts, and business processes quickly.
- Ability to work independently, follow structured processes, manage assigned tasks, and take ownership of deliverables.
- Strong commitment to data accuracy, quality, and timely completion of assigned work.
- A proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to develop expertise across maritime operations, ERP systems, data, and vessel performance.
