JUNIOR EXCEUTIVE - TAXATION

PRIME FUNCTION

To support Internal Audit activities through coordination with auditors and business functions, timely submission of audit information, tracking and closure of audit observations, and assistance in insurance and risk management activities to strengthen internal controls and ensure effective risk monitoring.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

Job ResponsibilitiesA. Internal Audit Coordination

• Coordinate with internal auditors and departments for audit requirements, data and documentation.

• Ensure timely collection and submission of information to auditors.

• Maintain trackers for audit requests, observations, action items and closure status.

• Follow up with departments for timely resolution of audit observations.

• Coordinate audit meetings, process walkthroughs and discussions with process owners.

• Maintain audit records and escalate pending or overdue matters to the reporting manager.

B. Risk Management & Insurance

• Support insurance renewal activities by collecting data and coordinating with internal teams, brokers and insurers.

• Assist in preparing information for insurance proposals, renewals, surveys and claims.

• Maintain trackers for insurance policies, renewals, claims and risk-related activities.

• Coordinate with plants and departments for risk assessments and implementation of risk improvement measures.

• Support documentation and follow-up for insurance claims and settlements.

 

AUTHORITY

• Obtain audit-related data, documents and clarifications from concerned departments.

• Follow up with process owners on pending audit requirements and observations.

• Coordinate with insurance brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders for routine documentation and information.

• Escalate delays, pending observations and unresolved issues to the reporting manager.

• Perform assigned activities within the established company policies and approval procedures.

JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY

Qualification: B.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

Experience: 1–2 years in Internal Audit, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance or related areas. Freshers may also be considered.

Technical Competencies:

• Basic understanding of Internal Audit, audit documentation and risk management.

• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Ability to maintain trackers and prepare basic MIS reports.

• Basic understanding of insurance processes will be an advantage.
