Junior Estimation and Planning Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for UK residential renovation, refurbishments and property maintenance projects.
• Calculate quantities for building works using drawings, photographs and project specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns covering labour, materials, consumables and other project expenses.
• Research material prices from UK based suppliers.
• Maintain estimation records, quotations and project schedules.
• Coordinate with the internal team to clarify requirements and complete estimates within agreed deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 03 years of experience in construction estimation, quantity surveying, billing engineering or project coordination.
• Freshers with a strong understanding of construction fundamentals and good Excel skills may apply.
• Knowledge of construction materials, building methods, quantity take-offs and cost calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Good English comunication, numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, site photographs and project specifications.
• Willingness to learn UK construction practices, supplier pricing and quotation standards.
• Must have a personal laptop and smartphone suitable for work-related tasks.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and be available during agreed UK working hours.
