Junior Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction and site execution activities.
• Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
• Supervise activities such as RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing and finishing works.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors and labour teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor manpower deployment and productivity at the site.
• Check line, level, alignment, reinforcement and shuttering before concreting.
• Monitor quality of materials and workmanship and report any deviations.
• Track daily work progress and prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
• Maintain site measurements, work records and other project documentation.
• Assist in quantity calculations, material requirements and site planning.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager/Senior Engineer for timely completion of assigned activities.
• Identify site-related technical issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Monitor material availability and ensure optimum utilization of materials.
• Ensure site activities are completed within the planned timeline.
• Maintain proper site records, photographs, checklists and progress updates.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a Junior Engineer Execution with 2 years of hands-on experience in high-rise building construction. The candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site execution activities, coordinating with contractors and labour teams, monitoring quality and progress, and ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings and project specifications.
