Junior Engineer

Role & responsibilities -

• Support day-to-day production and shop-floor activities.
• Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Understand and follow sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.
• Assist in setting up and monitoring machines and production lines.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
• Monitor material usage, rejection, rework, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Assist in identifying production problems and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain production records, reports, and process documentation.
• Support 5S, Kaizen, productivity improvement, and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Learn and follow company SOPs, work instructions, and quality procedures.

Preferred candidate profile -

• BE/B.Tech Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with internship or project experience in manufacturing/production will be an added advantage.
