Job Description :
Junior Engineer - Powder Coating (Production Department)
Job Purpose:
To assist in planning, monitoring, and executing powder coating production activities, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in daily powder coating line operations (pre-treatment, coating, curing, etc.).
Ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.
Monitor coating quality, film thickness, and surface finish as per standards.
Coordinate with fabrication/assembly teams for smooth material flow.
Maintain production records and daily reports.
Ensure proper usage of coating materials, chemicals, and equipment.
Implement 5S, safety, and housekeeping practices.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of powder coating processes & equipment.
Understanding of surface preparation & quality parameters.
Basic knowledge of production planning & documentation.
Familiarity with MS Excel, SAP (preferred).
Strong communication and team coordination skills.
Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Paint Technology.
1 - 3years of experience in powder coating / painting lines
Budget
Up to 20k - 22k gross
