Role Description The Junior Data Analyst internship is a remote role focused on supporting data-driven decision-making for clients and internal teams. Interns will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources, preparing datasets for analysis and reporting. They will help create basic dashboards, reports, and visualizations, and support the interpretation of trends and patterns under the guidance of senior analysts. Day-to-day activities may include documenting data processes, preparing presentations, and contributing to data-related research tasks. Interns will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, learn standard tools and methodologies, and follow established data quality and security practices.
Qualifications
- Foundational data skills, including basic data collection, cleaning, and organization, with familiarity in spreadsheets or simple database tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to interpret numerical information and identify trends with guidance.
- Interest or exposure to data visualization tools (such as Excel charts, Google Sheets, or introductory BI tools) and willingness to learn more advanced platforms.
- Basic understanding of programming or query languages (such as introductory Python, SQL, or similar) is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and collaborate with remote team members.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow structured processes and documentation standards.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and technologies, and work in a diverse, global, and remote environment.
