Junior Civil Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Engineer (Civil) to support site execution and supervision at our Karnal government construction project. The ideal candidate has 4-5 years of hands-on experience in civil construction and can independently manage site activities under the guidance of the Project Manager and Senior Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise day-to-day civil construction activities as per drawings and specifications.
• Supervise foremen, supervisors and labour to ensure quality work and timely completion.
• Take site measurements and assist in preparing measurement sheets and bills.
• Monitor material receipt, usage and stock at site and report shortages in time.
• Ensure construction work meets quality standards and government project specifications.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure safe working conditions at the site.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site records and work registers.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and the head office team for smooth execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering (Diploma, B.Tech or B.E.).
• 4 - 5 years of experience in civil construction site execution.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, BOQ and measurement.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Experience on government projects is an added advantage.
• Good communication and team handling skills.
• Willingness to work on-site at the Karnal location.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: INR 18,000 - 30,000 per month, based on experience and skill set.
