About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Automation QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in software testing and test automation, with hands-on expertise in Python, Selenium WebDriver, and Playwright. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts, executing various testing activities, identifying software defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities Test Automation Development

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automated test scripts using

Python, Selenium WebDriver, and Playwright .

• Develop and enhance automation frameworks following industry best practices such as Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven Testing, and reusable components.
• Execute automated functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and optimize test execution time.

Software Testing & Quality Assurance

• Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, test planning, and test case design.
• Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on business requirements.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using tools such as Jira.
• Perform root cause analysis of reported defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Validate bug fixes through regression testing before production releases.
• Ensure software quality by following QA standards, testing methodologies, and best practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Automation Framework & CI/CD

• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of automation frameworks to improve scalability and maintainability.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Monitor automated test execution, analyze reports, and improve test reliability.
• Maintain automation code repositories using Git and follow version control best practices.

API Testing & Database Validation

• Perform API testing using Postman, Python Requests, or similar tools.
• Validate application data by writing SQL queries and performing database testing.
• Verify backend functionality, data integrity, and API responses during end-to-end testing.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA team members to understand project requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Stay updated with emerging automation tools, testing methodologies, and AI-powered productivity tools.
• Contribute ideas for improving testing processes, automation efficiency, and software quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing or Test Automation.
• Strong programming skills in

Python .

• Hands-on experience with

Selenium WebDriver ,

Playwright , and

PyTest (or similar Python automation frameworks).

• Strong understanding of automation framework concepts, including

Page Object Model (POM) ,

Data-Driven Testing , and

Reusable Framework Components .

• Good knowledge of

Manual Testing ,

SDLC ,

STLC , and the

Defect Life Cycle .

• Experience in creating and executing

Test Cases, Test Plans, and Test Scenarios .

• Basic knowledge of

SQL for database validation.

• Familiarity with

Git and version control systems.

• Understanding of

CI/CD concepts and tools such as

Jenkins ,

GitHub Actions , or similar.

• Experience with defect tracking tools such as

Jira .

• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
