JOB DESCRIPTION
Junior Accounts ExecutiveDescription: Manage sales and purchase postings, export tracking, bank transactions, order approvals, and payment verification. This role involves ensuring accurate financial records, coordinating with vendors, and supporting data management using Tally and Excel.Reports To: Senior Accounts ManagerKey Responsibilities:

• Sales and Purchase Posting: Accurately post sales transactions and incoming purchase invoices in Tally, ensuring alignment with invoices and minimizing errors.
• Mandi Data Management (Export Tracking): Update export data on the Mandi Portal, ensuring accurate recording of shipment details.
• Bank Posting: Record all bank transactions in Tally, including payments to vendors and receipts from clients.
• Order Approval: Verify pending purchase orders, coordinate with vendors for deliveries, and prioritize approvals based on urgency.
• Payment Verification: Manage UPI payments, verify vendor details, and resolve unidentified payments with the sales team.
• Data Management Tools: Use Tally for financial data entry and transaction recording, and utilize Excel for managing sales, purchase, and payment records.

Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 2-4years of experience in accounting roles.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Tally and Excel
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial documentation, and vendor management
• Familiarity with processes in industries like retail, trading, or manufacturing

Task List- Junior Accounts Executive

1. Sales and Purchase Posting

• Accurately post sales transactions in Tally on a daily basis.
• Ensure sales entries align with corresponding invoices for accurate financial tracking.
• Record all incoming purchase invoices in Tally.
• Cross-check purchase details with vendors to minimize errors before posting.

1. Mandi Data Management (Export Tracking)

• Update export data on the Mandi Portal in the required format.
• Ensure shipment details like quantities, destinations, and dates are accurately recorded.

1. Bank Posting

• Record all bank transactions in Tally, including: Payments made to vendors and Payments received from clients for sales.
• Maintain accurate transaction records for clear financial reporting.

1. Order Approval

• Verify pending purchase orders from vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors via phone to schedule and approve deliveries.
• Prioritize purchase order approvals based on delivery schedules and urgency.

1. Payment Verification

• Manage payments made via UPI, ensuring the correct vendor and firm details are verified.
• Coordinate with the sales team to identify and resolve unknown payments.

1. Data Management Tools

• Use Tally for financial data entry and transaction recording.
• Utilize Excel for managing certain sales, purchase, and payment records.
