Junior Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting and data entry in Tally
• Recording purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries
• Maintaining vouchers, bills and supporting documents
• Bank entries and basic bank reconciliation
• Assisting in reconciliation of accounts and outstanding balances
• Preparing basic reports and data in Excel
• Supporting senior members of the Accounts Department in routine accounting work
• Ensuring entries and records are updated accurately and on time
• Other day-to-day accounts-related work as assigned

Preferred candidate profile

• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts
• Good working knowledge of Tally
• Basic working knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience in day-to-day accounting entries and ledger maintenance
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Disciplined, responsible and willing to learn
• Comfortable working as part of an existing Accounts team
• Candidates with experience in a trading/distribution company preferred
