Junior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices based on quotations, shipment details, and agreed commercial terms.
• Verify freight, handling, documentation, customs, transportation, and other applicable charges before invoicing.
• Maintain customer outstanding statements and regularly follow up for pending payments.
• Record customer receipts and update payment status in the accounting system.
• Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and customer queries.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with exposure to accounting in any of the following areas will be preferred:

• Freight Forwarding
• Shipping
• Customs Clearance
• CHA Operations
• CFS / Warehousing
