Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

The Accountant will manage financial records, oversee transactions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards specific to real estate operations such as property sales, leasing, and project costing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records for real estate projects and properties
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and tenant payments
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Track project-wise costing (construction, land, approvals, etc.)
• Manage GST, TDS, and other tax compliances
• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
• Monitor cash flow and fund allocation for ongoing projects
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
• Maintain records of sales, leases, and property transactions
• Ensure compliance with local real estate regulations and accounting standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1+ years of accounting experience (real estate experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation
• Proficiency in accounting software like Tally
• Good understanding of real estate financial processes
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

• CA (Inter) / CMA / MBA (Finance)
• Experience in real estate or construction industry
• Familiarity with project accounting and RERA compliance
