Jr. Warehouse and Logistics Executive

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Executive to manage warehouse stock data, inventory records, dispatch operations, and vehicle placement. The candidate should have practical knowledge of warehouse management, transporter coordination, and cost-effective pan-India transportation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Maintain daily stock records, inward and outward entries, and inventory MIS.
• Update stock data in Excel or ERP and conduct regular physical stock reconciliation.
• Ensure proper material storage, handling, and documentation.
• Monitor stock discrepancies, damaged materials, and inventory availability.

2. Logistics & Vehicle Placement

• Plan material dispatches and arrange vehicles based on material quantity, weight, and delivery location.
• Have knowledge of 20 FT trucks, DCM, 32 FT single/multi-axle trucks, 40 FT trailers/containers, and part-load vehicles.
• Coordinate with local and pan-India transporters for vehicle placement.
• Negotiate freight rates and establish rate contracts with transport vendors.
• Coordinate shipments through Delhivery, Safexpress, V-Trans, VRL, Om Logistics, and other logistics partners.
• Track shipments and ensure timely and safe delivery of materials.

3. Documentation & MIS

• Maintain dispatch records, delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, LR/GR copies, and proof of delivery.
• Prepare daily stock, dispatch, vehicle placement, and freight cost reports.
• Coordinate with procurement, accounts, project teams, and warehouse staff.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or transportation operations.
• Strong knowledge of stock management, Excel, and inventory MIS.
• Hands-on experience in vehicle placement, transporter management, and freight negotiation.
• Experience in pan-India shipments and logistics coordination.
• Knowledge of solar and electrical materials such as solar modules, inverters, structures, ACDB/DCDB, HT panels, DWC pipes, earthing materials, and cables will be preferred.
