Role Description The Jr. Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. In this role, the designer will assist in developing interior concepts, preparing design presentations, and supporting space planning for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating construction drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, and collaborating with senior designers, architects, and project managers to ensure design intent is executed accurately. The Jr. Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, support site coordination, and help maintain project documentation and material libraries.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and FF&E skills, including concept development, material selection, and furniture specifications.
• Candidates should possess Space Planning skills, with the ability to optimize layouts for functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.
• Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills, including familiarity with technical detailing and coordination with project teams.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, InDesign) is beneficial.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in interior design or related fields, preferably with exposure to residential or commercial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Strong visual communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Mumbai.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
