Job Title: Store In-charge Location: Kakkalur Industrial Estate,

Role & responsibilities

• Run day-to-day stores operations: receipt, storage, issue and dispatch of materials
• Prepare GRN for all incoming materials in Tally, checking quantity, make and part number against the PO and invoice
• Coordinate with QC for incoming inspection, and handle rejections and returns to suppliers
• Issue materials to production against project-wise BOM or indent, and keep issue records job-wise in Tally
• Maintain stock of electrical and automation items such as switchgear, MCBs, contactors, cables, drives, PLC/HMI and panel accessories, plus mechanical, hydraulic and consumable items
• Track cable cut lengths, part-used reels and balance stock correctly
• Maintain Tally inventory: stock items, godowns, batch and location details, stock journals and material transfers
• Prepare delivery challans, returnable and non-returnable gate passes, and job work DCs for outward material
• Support dispatch with packing lists, invoices and e-way bills, working with accounts
• Keep min/max and reorder levels for regular items and raise purchase indents on time
• Conduct monthly cycle counts and the yearly physical stock verification, and reconcile differences in Tally
• Prepare monthly stock reports: stock statement, non-moving and slow-moving items, project-wise consumption
• Keep customer-supplied material and free-issue items separately identified and accounted for
• Maintain proper binning, labelling, 5S and safe storage, including ESD-sensitive items such as drives and PCBs
• Handle scrap and surplus material identification and disposal records
• Support internal and external audits with stores documents

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: Diploma or any degree (B.Com / BBA / Diploma in Mechanical or EEE preferred)
• Experience: 1 to 6 years as Store In-charge or Senior Storekeeper in a manufacturing unit; experience in a panel building, electrical, automation or engineering company is preferred
• Tally: Hands-on in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime inventory, including GRN, stock journal, delivery note, job work, godown and batch handling
• Excel: Good working knowledge (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, stock reports)
• Material knowledge: Able to identify electrical and mechanical components by make and part number (Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Mitsubishi and similar)
• GST documentation: Basic knowledge of DC, e-way bill and GST documents
• Approach: Disciplined and accurate with records, able to work independently and coordinate with purchase, production and accounts
• Languages: Tamil and working English
• Location: Candidates staying near Kakkalur, Tiruvallur, Thiruninravur or Avadi preferred; own two-wheeler preferred
• Joining: Immediate joiners or up to 30 days notice preferred
