Job Role IT Asset Lead

Location: Mumbai
Experience: Min 5 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and disposal.
• Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software, laptops, desktops, and other IT assets.
• Ensure timely allocation and recovery of IT assets from employees.
• Monitor asset movements, transfers, replacements, and decommissioning.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, warranty, and AMC-related activities.
• Maintain asset records and prepare regular inventory and compliance reports.
• Conduct periodic physical verification and reconciliation of assets.
• Ensure compliance with IT asset management policies and processes.
• Identify gaps, discrepancies, and risks related to asset management and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with IT, HR, Admin, Finance, and other stakeholders for asset-related activities.
• Lead and guide the asset management team and ensure timely resolution of asset-related requests.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management.
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware and software asset lifecycle.
• Experience with asset inventory and tracking tools.
• Good understanding of procurement, warranty, AMC, and vendor management.
• Strong reporting, documentation, and reconciliation skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and asset management systems.
• Ability to manage teams and handle multiple activities independently.
