Role - Desktop Engineer

Location - DLF Cyber City, Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities

End User Support

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and business applications.
• Resolve user issues related to email, MS Office, Teams, VPN, and shared resources.
• Handle password resets, account unlocks, and user access requests.
• Provide remote and onsite support as required.
• MacBook , Window Laptop Configuration and Troubleshoot
• Microsoft Surface Laptop and Tablet Configuration

IT Infrastructure Support

• Monitor and support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot basic switch, router, and firewall connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with central IT teams and vendors for issue resolution.
• Ensure uptime of network for Office and Meeting Room
• Printer Cartridge Management and Printer Support
• Plotter Intermediate level support

Incident & Service Request Management

• Log, track, and update tickets in the ITSM tool.
• Ensure timely resolution within defined SLA timelines.
• Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams.
• Maintain incident and resolution records.

Asset Management

• Maintain IT asset inventory records.
• Track allocation and movement of IT equipment.
• Assist in hardware procurement and replacement activities.
• Conduct physical verification of IT assets.

Security & Compliance

• Follow IT security policies and procedures.
• Support antivirus management and endpoint security compliance.
• Report security incidents and unusual activities.
• Assist in software license compliance activities.

Documentation

• Maintain support documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Update asset registers and network diagrams.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly support reports.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma/Bachelor is Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or Infrastructure Support.
