Job || Hiring For Billing Specialist For Mohali - Evening shift

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end ownership of assigned customer/resident accounts for outstanding payments
• Execute soft collection activities via calls and emails, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Follow up on overdue invoices/bills, explain charges, investigate discrepancies, and ensure resolution
• Handle inbound and outbound payment queries and dispute management with strong articulation skills
• Drive DSO reduction through timely follow-ups and promise-to-pay tracking
• Coordinate with internal teams (billing, operations, customer support) for issue resolution
• Ensure accurate payment application, account maintenance, and documentation
• Perform invoice reconciliation including adjustments, credits, and rebills within defined limits
• Maintain basic Excel-based reporting and analysis (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
• Demonstrate strong negotiation, follow-up discipline, and professional email communication
• Required to take complete ownership of assigned accounts and manage complete relationships as well for collections and customer invoices issues.
• Handle customer questions & / or objections

Preferred candidate profile

• Should have 3-5 years of Billing and Collection experience.
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communications skills
• Basic Excel based reporting and analysis on assigned inventory.
• Good negotiation skills
• Should be comfortable working in EST shift
