Jira Administrator

Technical Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in Jira Administration, Atlassian Administration, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience administering Jira Software and Jira Service Management.
• Experience configuring workflows, issue types, schemes, permissions, screens, custom fields, automation rules, dashboards, and reports.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and ITSM methodologies.
• Knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Atlassian Access.
• Experience integrating Jira with CI/CD, DevOps, testing, and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and integration mechanisms.
• Experience with ScriptRunner, Groovy, or equivalent scripting tools is an added advantage.
• Understanding of user access management and security best practices.
• Experience supporting Cloud and/or Data Center Jira environments.
• Knowledge of reporting, dashboard creation, and project metrics analysis.
• Atlassian certifications will be an added advantage.
