Experience requirements

• Total experience: 8 to 12 years in Atlassian Cloud administration, DevOps, or platform operations
• Atlassian-specific experience: 3+ years hands-on with Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud administration
• Migration execution experience: Minimum 2 completed Atlassian migration Programs in an engineer/executor capacity (Cloud-to-Cloud experience strongly preferred)
• Scripting/automation: Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, Groovy, Bash, or PowerShell) for API-based automation

Certifications (required / preferred)

• Required: Atlassian Certified Professional Jira Administration (Cloud)
• Preferred: Atlassian Certified Professional — Confluence Administration (Cloud)
• Preferred: Atlassian Certified Professional — Managing Jira Projects (Cloud)
• Preferred: Any cloud platform certification (AWS/Azure/GCP Associate level)

Hands-on Atlassian accelerator & enabler experience

• JCMA: Hands-on execution experience — project selection, user mapping, field mapping, migration runs, re-runs (delta), error log analysis and resolution
• CCMA: Hands-on execution experience — space migration, attachment handling, page hierarchy validation, macro fallback handling
• Atlassian REST APIs: Practical scripting experience for bulk operations (issue/page CRUD, attachment downloads/uploads, permission audits, field value extraction)
• Reconciliation tooling: Experience building or operating automated comparison scripts (source vs target counts, field-level spot checks)
• Scriptrunner for Jira/Confluence (Cloud): Familiarity with Scriptrunner or equivalent for bulk field updates, workflow transitions, and data cleanup tasks
