JIRA Admin-Senior TechOps Engineer

• Jira Software configuration (projects, boards, workflows, schemes)
• Jira Automation (native and ScriptRunner/Groovy scripting)
• Jira Query Language (JQL)
• Issue security, permission schemes, user/group management
• Agile and Scrum board management

TechOps & System Administration:

• Basic Linux/Unix system administration (e.g., log inspection, service restarts, file permissions)
• User and access management (LDAP/AD integration experience is a plus)
• Shell scripting or automation scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Experience working with Atlassian tools in a self-hosted or Data Center environment
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) for Jira uptime and performance
• Understanding of networking basics (DNS, firewalls, reverse proxies)
• Backup, recovery, and configuration export/import in Jira
• Understanding of change/release processes, ITIL concepts

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Jira Service Management (JSM) and customer portals
• Experience with Confluence, including knowledge base and linked documentation
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo) for DevOps collaboration
• Atlassian Certifications (e.g., ACP-100, ACP-600)
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) for Jira Cloud migrations or integrations
