JavaScript Automation Engineer

Responsibility

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using JavaScript and Selenium WebDriver.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
• Integrate AI-powered testing tools and techniques to improve test coverage and defect detection.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
• Develop reusable automation components and utilities.
• Execute regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration and automation initiatives.
• Generate test reports and maintain automation documentation.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI and test automation technologies.

Required Skills/Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as:
• WebdriverIO
• Playwright
• Cypress (preferred)
• Knowledge of AI-enabled testing platforms/tools.
• Experience with REST API testing tools like Postman or automation libraries.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
