About this role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs and services for business applications.
- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions aligned with business and enterprise architecture standards.
- Develop and manage API integrations with internal and external systems.
- Participate in application design, technical solutioning, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable software solutions.
- Implement API management, service orchestration, and inter-service communication patterns.
- Ensure application performance, reliability, security, and scalability through best practices and design principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Develop reusable frameworks, common services, and shared components to improve development efficiency.
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD practices, and deployment strategies for microservices environments.
- Monitor application health, optimize system performance, and ensure operational excellence.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, design reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and solution design documents.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on Java and Microservices best practices.
