Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.
• Work with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Spring Security.
• Design and implement microservices-based applications.
• Integrate REST APIs with frontend applications and third-party services.
• Develop and maintain database queries using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Implement API authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth 2.0, and Spring Security.
• Write clean, reusable, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Perform API testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Use Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and other tools for API testing and documentation.
• Handle exception management, logging, validation, and error handling.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and project managers.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
• Maintain code repositories using Git and support CI/CD processes.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 8+, OOP concepts, Collections, Streams, and Exception Handling.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and HTTP methods.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture and API integration.
• Knowledge of Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and ORM frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and API response handling.
• Experience with Git, Maven, or Gradle.
• Knowledge of unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
