Java Production Support Lead

• Lead the L2/L3 production support team for Java/J2EE applications.
• Own production incidents, problems, service requests, and critical escalations from identification through resolution.
• Monitor application health, performance, availability, and system capacity.
• Analyze application logs, stack traces, database issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot Java/J2EE applications, REST APIs, microservices, and integration issues.
• Coordinate with development teams for code fixes, hotfixes, and permanent resolutions.
• Lead P1/P2 incident management, including RCA and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with SLA, incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
• Participate in production deployments, release validation, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, Database, Middleware, Network, and Infrastructure teams.
• Identify recurring incidents and drive automation and permanent fixes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure metrics using tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar platforms.
• Improve operational processes, monitoring, alerting, and support documentation.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior support engineers.
• Provide regular status updates to management and business stakeholders during major incidents.
• Participate in 24x7 production support/on-call rotation, where required.
