Role Overview:

The Java Microservices Developer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based applications using Java and related technologies. This position requires expertise in Java development along with a deep understanding of microservices architecture, aiming to create scalable, resilient, and high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Microservices Development: Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Java, adhering to best practices and architectural principles.

2. API Development: Create robust and efficient RESTful APIs for communication between microservices and external systems.

3. Database Integration: Integrate microservices with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and other data storage solutions efficiently.

4. Scalability and Performance: Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance optimization of microservices-based applications.

5. Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, maintainable code and conduct unit testing to ensure the reliability and stability of services.

6. Security Implementation: Implement security measures and protocols within microservices to ensure data protection and system integrity.

7. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot issues within microservices, ensuring system health and availability.

8. Documentation and Collaboration: Document architectural decisions, APIs, and guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and QA engineers.

Required Skills:

1. Java Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.) for microservices development.

2. Microservices Knowledge: In-depth understanding of microservices architecture, principles, and patterns (service discovery, circuit breaker, etc.).

3. API Development: Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs, including API versioning and documentation.
