About this role
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer to join our team and work on Connectivity Services and enterprise-grade backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in modern Java development, microservices architecture, OData V4 services, CDS modeling, and secure API development.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and enhance microservices-based applications for enterprise connectivity services.
Build, expose, and consume OData V4 services.
Develop RESTful APIs using JSON and industry-standard API design principles.
Work with Core Data Services (CDS) for data modeling and service development.
Implement secure APIs using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other API security mechanisms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and design principles.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Mandatory Skills
5+ years of professional Software Development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java.
Experience with Java 17 or Java 21.
Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
Experience developing and exposing OData V4 services.
Good knowledge of CDS (Core Data Services) modeling.
Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
Hands-on knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
Strong understanding of API security and secure service integration.
Preferred Skills
Experience working on enterprise connectivity or integration services.
Knowledge of cloud-native application development.
Experience with API gateways and service-to-service communication.
Good understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
