Java Lead

About Position: We are seeking a talented Java Developer with 10-12 years of experience Who Owns discrete workstreams within a program and builds production Java + AI features end-to-end on the target stack (Spring Boot, Kafka, PostgreSQL, GCP).

• Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do:
• Own a microservice or feature end-to-end: design, build, test, deploy via Harness to GKE/Cloud Run
• Build and harden RAG / LLM features; set up evals and monitoring (Splunk, Grafana)
• Execute guided migration patterns (DB2?PostgreSQL, IBM MQ?Kafka)
• Participate in client meetings with guidance; groom and estimate backlog in Jira
• Mentor L1 associates on assigned tasks ? Strong Java/Spring Boot and Spring Batch; Kafka fundamentals
• Strong Java/Spring Boot and Spring Batch; Kafka fundamentals
• PostgreSQL; REST + OpenAPI/Swagger contract design
• CI/CD with Harness; containerization; able to debug production issues

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Solid LLM application patterns ? RAG, tool/function calling, MCP basics
• Spec-driven development; prompt and context-engineering fundamentals
• Builds reusable eval harnesses and quality gates for AI features
• Java/Spring Boot, GitHub + Copilot, Maven, PostgreSQL, Docker, Jira/Confluence, GCP fundamentals.
• Harness, GKE/Cloud Run, Kafka, SonarQube, Vertex AI basics; IBM Watsonx for Z (TrackB).
