Java Technical Lead - Microservices & Modernization (Industrial IoT / Heavy Engineering Domain)

Job Highlights

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Modernization: Lead low-level design (LLD) and refactoring of legacy monoliths into cloud-native microservices using Java 17+ & Spring Boot.
• Technical Leadership: Own technical delivery, conduct code reviews, enforce clean code standards (SOLID), and mentor a squad of 48 engineers.
• API & Data Engineering: Design high-throughput REST APIs, build containerized deployment pipelines (Docker/Kubernetes), and optimize database performance (SQL/JPA/Hibernate).
• AI & DevOps Integration: Drive AI-assisted development tools (Copilot) into daily engineering workflows and integrate quality gates into CI/CD build pipelines.

Must-Have Skills

• Core Tech: Java (17+), Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA / Hibernate, Microservices architecture.
• Database & Messaging: Relational Databases (SQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle), Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• DevOps & Quality: Git, Maven, Docker, SonarQube, JUnit / Mockito.
• Role Fit: Proven experience in Agile environments, microservices migration, and global stakeholder communication.
