Java Full Stack Lead

AVP Java FullStack Developer Bangalore:-

The role is for a senior developer who will design, build, and maintain highperformance, eventdriven, lowlatency applications within BNPParibas Prime platform. You will mentor junior team members, drive bestinclass DevOps practices, and help keep technical debt under control while delivering reliable solutions for cash, synthetics, trade processing, financing, and margin services.

Job Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

1. Develop, support, enhance, and fix bugs in Javabased applications; mentor junior developers.
2. Demonstrate solid functional understanding of Prime applications and convey this knowledge to the team.
3. Report progress regularly to the Project Manager and flag issues promptly.
4. Escalate problems to local management and propose practical solutions.
5. Ensure compliance with project and organisational standards throughout the softwaredevelopment lifecycle.
6. Manage administrative tasks maintain Jira tickets, update Wiki documentation, and track progress.
7. Meet agreedupon deadlines and deliverables.

Contributing Responsibilities

1. Design solutions that respect architectural and infrastructure constraints of the corporate platform.
2. Provide impact analysis and propose alternative approaches where appropriate.
3. Apply a qualityfirst mindset (scope, defect density, performance, testing).
4. Estimate effort, track time, and report status accurately.
5. Coordinate with release and support teams for production deployments and postrelease support.

Required Skills and Experience

• Core Technical
  
1. Java (core Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate)
2. SQL and relationaldatabase development
3. DevOps toolchain: Jenkins, SonarQube, Bitbucket, Rundeck
4. Design and implementation of REST APIs / Microservices
5. Frontend development with Angular
6. Eventdriven architectures using Apache Kafka
7. Performance tuning of lowlatency, highthroughput applications

GoodtoHave Skills and Experience

• Technical:
  
• Experience with messaging middleware (e.g., IBM MQ)
• Python scripting for automation or data processing
• Inmemory data grids such as Redis or Oracle Coherence
• Additional capabilities that will be valued:
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
