Java Developer

Position: Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer (SE/SSE)

Role Summary

We are looking for a passionate and result-oriented Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java and related technologies to join our Product Engineering team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing enterprise-grade applications while ensuring high-quality coding standards and timely project delivery.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience in developing and supporting multi-tier enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise software applications using Java technologies.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in software design, coding, debugging, and code reviews.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable components.

Technical Analysis & Documentation

• Study user requirements, system workflows, and business processes.
• Prepare technical documentation, flowcharts, architecture diagrams, and design documents.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide effective solutions.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Create and execute unit, integration, and system test cases.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Proof of Concepts (POC), and customer demonstrations.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and resolve performance and application issues.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality processes, and best practices.

Deployment & Support

• Assist in application deployment, installation, and production support activities.
• Prepare release documentation and deployment guides.
• Support troubleshooting, log analysis, and database query optimization.

Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, Support, and Project Management.
• Participate in peer reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Contribute towards continuous process and product improvements.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Java
• JSP
• Servlets
• J2EE
• SQL / Oracle Database
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Web-Based and Multi-Tier Application Development
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration.
• Experience in application debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems and development best practices.

Experience & Qualification

• Experience: 2-4 Years
• Education: B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline)
• Consistent academic performance with 60% and above throughout academics preferred.
