Java Developer

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer / Solutions Engineer with a strong blend of technical expertise and client-facing experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing, developing, and implementing integration and automation solutions for enterprise customers. This role requires close collaboration with clients, sales, implementation, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand business requirements and lead integration and automation solution discussions.
• Work closely with sales and implementation teams during discovery, solution design, and project scoping phases.
• Gather, document, and validate technical requirements and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Design, develop, and maintain custom integration and automation solutions using Java-based technologies.
• Implement and manage integration deployments throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure solution quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across integrations and applications.
• Balance both functional consulting and technical development responsibilities (50/50 split).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3-7 years of professional experience in Java application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

• REST/SOAP Web Services and APIs
• Cloud Integrations
• JSON and XML
• MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of web technologies including HTTP, DNS, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience developing, testing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Knowledge of automation and system integrations within enterprise environments.
• Experience working with integration and automation solutions.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
