Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java & Groovy Developer with strong expertise in enterprise application development, service integrations, and modern backend technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Groovy scripting, Java, SOAP and REST web services, Spring Boot, and SQL databases. This role requires excellent communication skills and the confidence to actively participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications using Java and Groovy.
• Develop and maintain SOAP and REST-based integrations with internal and external systems.
• Build scalable microservices and backend applications using Spring Boot.
• Create and maintain Groovy scripts to support business processes and system integrations.
• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database components as needed.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture sessions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Drive best practices for coding standards, performance optimization, and application security.

Required Skills

• 8 to 12 years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
• Proven experience with Groovy scripting/programming.
• Expertise in SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Solid experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with source control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized deployments.
• Exposure to integration frameworks and messaging systems.
• Understanding of software design patterns and enterprise architecture principles.
