Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Java developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java technologies, Spring Boot, API integrations, and cloud-native application development. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and performance-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and Frontend Developers to define API requirements and technical solutions.
- Integrate applications with internal and external systems through APIs, messaging platforms, and middleware solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best coding practices.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment automation.
- Ensure API security, authentication, authorization, and compliance standards are implemented.
Technical Skills
- Core Java (Java 8/11/17).
- Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
- REST APIs and Microservices.
- Hibernate/JPA and ORM concepts.
- SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- API Gateway, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API documentation standards.
- Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
- Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
