Role Summary:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade Java applications for fintech solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and ensure application quality, performance, and scalability.

What Youll Do:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java applications
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technology roadmaps
- Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD processes

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17+)
- Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems
- Knowledge of Design Patterns, OOP Principles, and SOLID Principles
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
- Strong knowledge of Git version control
- Understanding of API Security, OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
- Team player with mentoring and leadership capabilities
- Strong focus on quality, performance, and scalability

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture
- Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with ELK Stack, Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus
- Knowledge of Reactive Programming (WebFlux)
- Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Certifications in AWS/Azure/GCP
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or E-commerce domains
- Experience working with globally distributed teams

Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 9+ years of professional software development experience in Java technologies
- Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise applications
