Java Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA and REST APIs. The candidate should have hands-on coding experience and exposure to the Financial Services / Banking domain.

Primary Skills

• Strong coding experience in Java / J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA and JSON
• Experience with Web Services, SOA, REST, HTTP and Microservices
• Exposure to Eventing frameworks
• Experience with Eclipse/IDE tools and UML/Modelling tools
• Experience working with Oracle Database
• Hands-on experience with JUnit and JMeter
• Exposure to Financial Services / Banking domain
• Ability to lead and guide a small team of developers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and geographies

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate and deploy Java applications
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Perform software analysis, programming, testing and debugging
• Develop technical designs for application development
• Lead and guide a small team of developers
• Support testing cycles as per customer/project requirements and timelines
• Follow defined development standards, tools, processes and change-control procedures
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, status reports and project deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different locations/geographies
• Ensure deliverables meet required quality, audit and compliance standards
