Java Developer

Shift: 6:00 PM 3:00 AM

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Java development. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, and practical experience in developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing Java-based applications.

The candidate should be comfortable working with Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL databases, and existing application codebases.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java.
• Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following development best practices.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
• Work with SQL databases and perform database-related development and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding and development standards.
• Support application deployment, maintenance, and production-related activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required.
• Contribute to application enhancements, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.

Required Skills:

• 4-6 years of strong hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Good understanding of Java-based application development.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and/or Spring Framework.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and Web Services.
• Experience working with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Git or other version-control systems.
• Ability to understand existing codebases and independently work on development and issue-resolution tasks.

Good to Have

• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Exposure to Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
