Java Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Java Developer Freshers to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Core Java, OOP concepts, SQL, and basic web/application development, along with a willingness to learn and work on real-world projects.The selected candidate will work with experienced developers to design, develop, test, debug, and maintain Java-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
• Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in application development.
• Develop and consume basic REST APIs.
• Work with databases and write SQL queries.
• Debug application issues and fix defects under guidance from senior developers.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
• Perform unit testing and basic application testing.
• Work with Git for source-code management.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
• Understand business and technical requirements and convert them into working solutions.
• Learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and project discussions.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of Core Java.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts: Inheritance, Polymorphism, Encapsulation, Abstraction.
• Knowledge of Collections Framework.
• Understanding of Exception Handling.
• Basic knowledge of Multithreading.
• Understanding of Java 8+ features such as: Lambda expressions, Streams, Functional interfaces.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Basic understanding of JDBC.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and HTTP methods.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Spring Boot.
• Understanding of Spring MVC / Spring Framework.
• Basic knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.
• Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.
• Knowledge of JSON/XML.
• Exposure to Docker or cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure is a plus.
• Academic or personal project experience using Java/Spring Boot is preferred.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA or equivalent qualification.
• Candidates graduating in 2025/2026 may apply.
• Strong academic projects or internships in Java development will be an advantage.
