About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, security and performance of cloud-based applications by following best practices such as containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot issues related to PubSub messaging queues, Cloud Storage buckets, GKE clusters etc.
Job Requirements :
- 4-7 years of experience in developing Java-based applications on GCP.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts including data storage (Cloud Storage), messaging queues (PubSub) & serverless computing (Cloud Functions).
- Experience with containerization using Docker & Kubernetes for deployment & management of applications.
