Java Developer

Key Responsibilities :Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.Build and enhance RESTful APIs ensuring scalability and reliability.

Write and execute unit and integration tests to maintain high-quality code.

Create and maintain Unix Shell scripts for application workflows.

Work with Postgres and relational databases to write optimized queries.

Support CI/CD processes, including code versioning and deployments.Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

Use tools like Sonar, Docker, and GitHub/GitLab for code quality and version control.

Assist in integrating updates into production environments.

Participate in performance testing using tools such as JMeter and Playwright.

Explore productivity enhancements using AI tools where applicable.

Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications

Hands-on experience in the Cards domain.

Practical knowledge of: Core Java, JDK 17, Spring Boot, Spring Batch Microservices architecture RESTful API development

Familiarity with Unix Shell scripting.

Good understanding of SQL and Postgres.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills / Preferred QualificationsBasic experience with Angular for front-end development.

Understanding of software design principles and Java EE concepts.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

Knowledge of Sonar, Docker, and build automation tools.Familiarity with testing tools like JMeter and Playwright.

Awareness of generative AI tools for productivity.Good communication and documentation skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
