Java Developer

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 7 years of Java development and 2 years of service-oriented architecture experience.
• Automated testing and code coverage frameworks.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience in working on development projects with teams of 3-5 developers.
• An Independent thinker, willing to engage, challenge and learn.
• Appreciates and delivers clear, well tested code.
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work with subject matter experts to extract critical business concepts.
• Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, code optimization and issue resolution.
• Enterprise software development using Spring Boot framework.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Thorough knowledge and experience in all phases of SDLC.
• Strong database expertise, with experience in both SQL and non-relational databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience with the Big Data ecosystem (HDFS, Spark, Flink and Snowflake).
• Cloud Infrastructure (AWS).
• Proficient in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Knowledge of web UI technologies such as React or Angular (nice to have).
